Surely an important practice is provident living and financial responsibility. Too many in our society today want everything 'now'... so they buy on credit and rack up a bunch of debt. Our government could be the WORST case of this in the history of the world! My husband and I have made a goal to never buy anything on credit and never go into debt except in the case of purchasing a modest home or emergency medical bills.
So far, (in a whole 10 months... :) ) we have done really well. When we purchased a new car last week, the seller was in shock that we paid in cash! But we always do, for everything. If we don't have the money, we don't need it.
Anyway, I saw this video the other day and it reminded me a little of my husband and I. I hope it will be an encouragement to you as you strive to be a provident provider for your family.

New Beginnings
Well, I did a little remodeling, but I'm back! The old posts from this blog have been deleted and I'm starting fresh. I hope to do so in life as well.
I want the new and improved blog to be focused on becoming a "Zion Person"... someone who is pure in heart and constantly striving to improve. I realize that I'm probably the least perfect person around, so what I say might not help anyone. However, being the least perfect person around means I have lots of room for improvement, so it could be a long journey! Hopefully it will prove to be interesting reading anyway.
I plan to post on topics such as homemaking (cooking, sewing, cleaning), provident living, gospel study, and more.
Well, onward and upward! I'll be back later for more!
